Etiqa Assurance Pte Ltd (Singapore)
Etiqa is using MSP 1.1 as the midrange processor for Online Web Services. They reached the limit of 32kb message string under MSP1.1 and in order to expand the maximum length to 1MB, an MSP upgrade was required.
Ezitech had implemented MSP 2.6 for Etiqa and also upgraded their SMART version to R16. Further on, Ezitech had provided the complete cycle of MSP web services deployment, including the new format Dynamic BO for 1MB message length, WAS profile management, consultancy and training on MSP development.
Etiqa Malaysia
The First VP/MS Project in Malaysia was in 2014, and the first VP/MS client in Malaysia is Etiqa (M) Bhd. The project saw dozens of Life Insurance products implemented using VP/MS. The VP/MS model was integrated with IOS device and frontend portals for Sales Illustration and Underwriting rules. The runtimes used were IOS and J/VPMS.
Tyrus was an instrumental team member who helped implement this project in Malaysia under CSC Malaysia.
In 2015, buoyed by the success of VP/MS, Etiqa expanded their use of VP/MS to its General insurance business. The initial scope was for Fire and Motor insurance, integrated with frontend and to the backend system Polisy/M.
