Etiqa Assurance Pte Ltd (Singapore)
Etiqa is using MSP 1.1 for their Online Web Services, and now they want to upgrade to MSP 2.6 because old MSP is not able to support a request string exceeded 32kB.
We are handling their MSP Mirgration project, which Vy Nguyen is team leader. Our team take responsibility on install MSP 2.6, config MSP to adapt Etiqa’s requirement and develop BO in new format to extent request message up to 1MB.
Prudential Assurance (M) Sdn Bhd
The project started in May 2017 and by 2019, over two dozen Life insurance products had been successfully implemented with VP/MS. The core system is Life/ASIA and over a dozen frontend peripheral systems consume the VP/MS model. The integration platforms used are SMART/400 API, SOAP XML, Rest API, and iOS runtime.
Prudential BSN Takaful (M) Sdn Bhd
PruBSN Takaful is an offspring of Prudential Assurance (M) Sdn Bhd. In year 2018, PruBSN Takaful had embarked on a common core platform delivery and this saw VP/MS being implemented for PruBSN too. The VP/MS model uses the common core concept where the same model is used by the two companies. David is also the architect for this project.
MSIG Malaysia
On 2016, MSIG engaged CSC to externalized calculation from their core system in PolicyM to VP/MS for tariff and de-tariff project Motor project. In this project our Tyrus also help to host VP/MS engine into XE Server in order to allow other party to call the calculation engine via SOAPUI and direct calling from PolicyM via VPMSAPI.
Etiqa Malaysia
The First VP/MS Project in Malaysia started in 2014 with Etiqa, over dozen Life Insurance products has been successfully implement with VP/MS. The VP/MS model consume by IOS front-end system for Sale Illustration and underwriting rules purposes. The integration platforms use are IOS runtime for this Project.
Our Tyrus is one of the Team members that involve in this pioneer project in Malaysia under CSC Malaysia and succeess to deliver the project.
On 2015, with the experience with VP/MS with Life Product. Etiqa has decided to use VP/MS calculation engine on its General product. The scope of this product is to externalized the existing tariff product that is existing sit in policyM to VP/MS model and on the same time implement de-taiff motor product.
BIDV (Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam) – MetLife VN
MetLife is in partnership with BIDV at their first time in VN year 2013.
This project is all about SMART400/AS400 to handle end to end of Life product cycle. BIDV – MetLife has introduced more than a dozen Life products from simple Traditional Term to complicated Universal Life.
Our Vy Nguyen was Lead Consultant of the team of 9 members. She had taken a wide range of task of development on Online Screen/Batch job/Business Object/XML Printing/AT Job subsystem, etc; perform the role of Business Analyst to work with users to understand business requirement and propose system solutions; and also produce Technical specification to development team.
